Cape Town, the provincial capital of the Western Cape, is the third most populous city in South Africa (2 900 000 inhabitants), as well as the legislative capital of South Africa, where the National Parliament is located. It was founded from the Dutch in 1652 and is considered for its position one of the most beautiful cities of the world, the city in fact is located in a spectacular natural scenic landscape, along the sea around the famous Table Mountain and at the beginnig of the peninsula of the Cape of Good Hope. Tourism represents one of the pulling ahead fields of the economy of the city, together to the manifacturing field.
 

2010 FIFA WORLD CUP: Cape Town, is among the 9 South African cities that between 11 June and 11 July 2010 will host the World Cup soccer championships.

STADIUM: Green Point Stadium: new stadium, situated between the mountain and the ocean, seating capacity of 70 000.
