Port Elizabeth (more than 1 000 000 inhabitants) situated Alagoa Bay, in the Eastern Cape Province is one of the major seaports in South Africa and also an important industrial and cultural center, the city is also the capital of the South African motor industry. Another developed econimic sector of Port Elizabeth is tourism.
 

2010 FIFA WORLD CUP: Port Elizabeth, is among the 9 South African cities that between 11 June and 11 July 2010 will host the World Cup soccer championships.
