CLIMATE: WHEN TO GO TO BAHAMAS

The Bahamas Islands, have a tropical climate tempered by north-east trade winds, temperatures undergo only minor changes during the year, the average minimum vary between 18°C and 24°C, while the average maximum between 25°C and 32°C. The Bahamas islands have an annual average of 1,150 mm of rain, the wet season runs from May to October. Between June and November can arrive on the islands the tropical cyclones.

The most northern and western islands (Grand Bahama Island, Great Abaco, Eleuthera and Andros) are more cool, while the southern islands are very hot especially in summer (from June to August). Sea water has roughly the same temperature of the air. The best period for a trip in the Bahamas are the months between December and April.
