Belize has a sub-tropical climate with two seasons well marked, the dry season from January to May and a shorter dry period from August to September and the wet season from June to July and from October to November.
The temperatures are fairly stable throughout the year, while rain and humidity characterize the different seasons. The period of hurricanes is from June to November. The average temperature is 23°C in December and 29°C in July, while the average annual rainfall varies greatly between the north and south, to the north (Corozal) is 1,270 mm, while the extreme south of the country (Punta Gorda) is 4450 mm.
The best time to visit the country is between December and May.
