CLIMATE: WHEN TO GO TO JAMAICA

The climate of Jamaica is a warm tropical influenced by sea and north-east trade winds. Along the coast of the island the temperatures range between 22°C and 31°C drop slightly inland in relation to altitude but just a few degrees. The more humid and rainy months are those between May and October, but it can rain all year, between June and November also hurricanes may occur. The average annual rainfall is 2100 mm, but in the north-eastern areas reach 3300 mm. The best period for a trip to Jamaica are the driest months between December and April.
