The island of Saint-Martin has a tropical warm and humid climate, with temperatures that undergo only minor changes throughout the seasons, and are moderate by the breath of constant north-east trade winds. During the year the temperatures varies between 24°C and 31°C, the climate of Saint Martin is similar to the vast majority of Caribbean islands and is characterised by two seasons, a dry season between January and April and a raint season between May and December, the months between June and November are also those where hurricanes are possible. The average annual rainfall is 1000-1200 mm. The best period to visit Saint Martin is the dry season between December and April.
