The Portuguese Fort of Hormuz, Iran.

The Hormuz Fortress is located in an area 125 meters on each side, with four 12-meter towers at its four corners. Its style is that of the European fortresses of the medieval ages inspired by the Iranian architecture. A substantial part of the Portuguese fort still exist, its walls and towers, although damaged, are still impressive, in particular the underground water cisterns.
