Salzburg is extremely rich in museums, including of course there are many museums devoted to Mozart and to the music:

The Mozart's Birthplace (Mozart Geburtshaus, Getreidegasse 9 A-5020 Salzburg), is the house where Mozart was born on January 27 1756, the museum houses portraits of family documents and instruments WA Mozart.

The House of Mozart (Mozart-Wohnhaus, Makartplatz 8 A-5020 Salzburg), this is the house where WA Mozart lived in the years between 1773 and 1780, there are objects of the Mozart family life and about the history of the building, in addition to an important audiovisual collection on Mozart and Salzburg modern composers. 

Toys Museum and the Museum of Musical Instruments (Spielzeug Museum and Historische Musikinstrumente, Bürgerspitalgasse 2 5020 Salzburg), exposes a rich collection of toys and historical musical instruments.

In the Archbishop Residence (Residenz zu Salzburg, Residenzplatz 1 A-5010 Salzburg), you can visit the Halls, with the ancient archbishops rooms. In the gallery Residence (Residenzplatz 1 A-5010 Salzburg) is find works of European painting from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century. 

Inside the Fortress Hohensalzburg there are two museums: the Museum of the Fortress (Festungsmuseum, Festung Hohensalzburg Mönchsberg 34 A-5020 Salzburg), hosts weapons and testimonies of history and life in the fortress. The Museum of Marionettes (Marionettenmuseum) in the Fortress Hohensalzburg (Mönchsberg 34 A-5020 Salzburg), host a rich collection of pieces from the collection of the Marionette Theater in Salzburg. 

The Cathedral Museum (Dommuseum zu Salzburg, Domplatz) hosts the Cathedral treasure, several works from the collection of the Archdiocese of Salzburg from the Middle Ages to the present, in addition to the Archbishop room of the wonders of the 17th and 18th century. The Museum of excavations of the Cathedral (Residenzplatz A-5020 Salzburg) presents the remains of the medieval cathedral and Roman buildings. 

The Baroque Museum (Salzburger Barockmuseum, Mirabellplatz 3 Mirabell Garden 5020 Salzburg) presents sketches of European artists of the 17th and 18th century.

The Salzburg Museum (Mozartplatz 1/Nuova Residence A-5010 Salzburg) is a museum dedicated to the city of Salzburg.

The Panorama Museum (Panorama Museum, Salzburg Panorama-1829 Residenzplatz 9 A-5010 Salzburg), there is exposed the panorama of Salzburg painting by Johann Michael Sattler in 1829, the painting covers 125 square meters (26 meters in circumference). 

The Museum of Natural History (Haus der Natur, Museumsplatz 5 A-5020 Salzburg), there are aquarium, Reptile, dinosaur hall, space lounge, the world of crystals, travel through the body.
