WHAT TO VISIT: SALZBURG MUSEUMS Salzburg is extremely rich in museums, including of course there are many museums devoted to Mozart and to the music: The Mozart's Birthplace (Mozart Geburtshaus, Getreidegasse 9 A-5020 Salzburg), is the house where Mozart was born on January 27 1756, the museum houses portraits of family documents and instruments WA Mozart. The House of Mozart (Mozart-Wohnhaus, Makartplatz 8 A-5020 Salzburg), this is the house where WA Mozart lived in the years between 1773 and 1780, there are objects of the Mozart family life and about the history of the building, in addition to an important audiovisual collection on Mozart and Salzburg modern composers.
