Climate: Croatia has a continental climate with strong thermal excursions in the interior of the country, and a Mediterranean climate along the coast.
There are two climatic zones: in the inland prevails a moderate continental climate, also partially alpine, while the regions along the adriatic coast have a pleasant Mediterranean climate that boasts many sun days: dry and warm summers, humid and mild winters; in the inland regions the medium temperature are: in January, between 0°C to 2° C; in August between 19°C to 23° C; the medium temperature in the Adriatic coast are: in January between 6°C to 11° C, in August between 21°C to 27° C.
The climate of Zagreb is continental, with four separate seasons. Summers are hot and wet, and winters are cold. Snowfall is common in the winter months, from December to March, and rain and fog are common in autumn (October to December).
Dubrovnik has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. The wettest months are October, November and December.
During winter the temperature of the sea is of 12° C, while of summer it is of approximately 25°C.
