Airports and Flights: Germany is served by more than 100 international airlines. Germany's Lufthansa , together with its Star Alliance partners, offers the most frequent and extensive services The global route network and coordinated schedules of the Star Alliance partnership link Germany with a total of 795 destinations around the world. The most important airports are Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin/Tegel, Cologne/Bonn and Hamburg.

There are also a number of low fare airlines which operate services, often to smaller, regional airports, at competitive prices with many regular internal flights between numerous German cities.

Scandlines: Puttgarden – Rødby, Rostock – Gedser

Rmø-Sylt Line: Sylt – Rømø

Bornholmstrafikken: Sassnitz – Rønne

 

From Sweden:

Stena Line: Goteborg-Kiel.

TT-Line: Trelleborg-Rostock, Trelleborg-Travemunde.

From Finland:

Buses:

Eurolines is the largest operator of scheduled coach services, offering regular services to Germany.  

Most major German cities boast an underground, bus and tram system. 

Trains:

In Germany the railway system enables everyone to travel stress free and comfortably on some extremely fast and very modern trains. There are good connections throughout Germany including to many other European destinations.

The national rail network is operated by Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) and is one of the most extensive and advanced networks anywhere in Europe. 

Taxis: Taxis are very easily available in all major cities and are usually recognizable as cream coloured Mercedes Benz.
