Tourist attractions: The attractions for the tourist in Lithuania are constituted from the historical patrimony of the country with the cities of Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda, from the natural landscapes (Curonian Spit, Žalieji ežerai (Green Lakes)) and the archaeological areas (Kernavė).
The old town of Vilnius is one of the largest in Eastern Europe. While it is for the most part built in Baroque style, having developed over many centuries, it has numerous buildings in Gothic and Renaissance style in an original mix of styles.
Unesco has inscribed 4 Lithuanian sites in the World Heritage List: Curonian Spit (2000),
Kernavė Archaeological Site (Cultural Reserve of Kernavė) (2004),
Struve Geodetic Arc (2005),
