Climate: The Netherlands has a temperate maritime climate with cool winters and mild summers. Atlantic Climate type, wet and windy, characterized by frequent rains and high variability. April is the best month for daffodils, May for tulips.

Amsterdam has a mild, damp climate but the weather can be variable with temperature extremes even in summer.
