The city of Alicante has a dry Mediterranean climate characterized by low rainfall with mild winters, thanks to its location surrounded by hills that protect it from the north winds. Precipitation is low with an annual average of 330 mm and are concentrated between September and November. Due to its geographic position offers an excellent climate and is popular as a winter residence. The mild climate makes it possible to enjoy the beaches almost all year round. The maximum summer average temperature is around 30°C, while the average minimum winter temperatures are around 8°C.

Spring and summer, but also winter are the best seasons to visit the city.
