Arcos (approximately 30.000 inhabitants) it's found at 60 km from Cadiz and 110 km from Seville, on the right side of the Guadalete river, at an height of 180 masl. Situated on spectacular rocks walls, Arcos de la Frontera is a colorful town in Cadiz province rich of rests of the Arabic domination, it's a city considered between the most beautiful of Spain for its position, its monuments and for its urban aspect, typical of Andalusia town. Arcos was under Arab rule from 711 to 1264, was in this period that the town acquired its feature urban structure. |
