CLIMATE: WHEN TO GO TO AVILA

Avila because of his height has a typically continental climate with harsh winters and frequent snowfall (20 days of snow a year), while the summers are relatively short, warm and dry. Avila's climate is extremely cold in winter, the summers are short and late summer (July and August) is a particularly hot and the heat makes it difficult to visit the city. The rainfall was low all year reaching a total of 400 mm. The best time to visit the city are the intermediate seasons, spring and autumn, when the weather is warm and sunny.
