CLIMATE: WHEN TO GO TO THE BALEARIC ISLANDS
Thanks to their position in the center of the Western Mediterranean the Balearic Islands enjoy a moderated climate that allows the cultivation of vine, olive tree, fig and the almond tree, beside the cereals, while on the hills prevails the “gariga”, scrub of Mediterranean essences. The precipitations reach the maximum in the autumnal months of October and November, the annual average is 430 mm. For the visit is optimal the period from May to October considering that the months of July and August are very crowded.
