The Costa Blanca is the coastal region of the province of Alicante washed by the Mediterranean Sea, it extends for 200 km between the towns of Pilar de la Horadada in the south and Denia in the north. The Costa Blanca is full of sandy beaches washed by calm water, with a privileged climate and a warm sea, the landscape of the region is also various from the mountains that overlook the sea. Among the popular resort along the Costa Blanca are: Alicante, Denia, Jávea, Calpe, Altea, Benidorm, Villajoyosa, Campello, Benitachell, Santa Pola and Torrevieja, all modern coastal cities with a vibrant nightlife. The region of Alicante is full of mountains, enabling interesting excursions, and archaeological sites, Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Arabs, are also the interesting feature the villages hidden in the mountains, and the areas planted with vines and palm trees, between them to visit the Palmeral of Elche that UNESCO has included in the World Heritage list.
