11th day, RONDA-GIBRALTAR-TARIFA-VEJER DE LA FRONTERA-CONIL DE LA FRONTERA 187 kms (215 kms with the deviation for Gibilterra)

Follow the road that passes for Jimena de la Frontera, Castellar de la Frontera, up to reach here the junction for Gibraltar you can pass the border and enter to Gibraltar, is here to visit the Fortress from which enjoys of a spectacular panorama on the strait from a side and on Morocco that lies a handful of kilometers. The superior part of the fortress is center of a splendid natural reserve where live over 600 kinds of plants. Gibraltar is lived by the famous macachis Barbary, the unique kind of primate that lives in Europe to the wild state.

You continue then for Tarifa, up to the Point Marroqui, the southernmost point of continental Spain:Africa is to few kms!

You go up again the coast up to Vejer de la Frontera, a characteristic andalusian village (here if you want pizza you can stay to the Pizzeria La Posta, where you can taste the best pizza of the Andalusia!) and then up to Conil de the Frontera where you will sleep.

Night in CONIL DE LA FRONTERA: Hotel Diufain, Conil de la Frontera: excellent three stars, in andalusian style, situated in a calm place endowed with free parking lot.  

12th day, CONIL DE LA FRONTERA-ARCOS DE LA FRONTERA-SEVILLE 182 km

During the road it is advisable a deviation to Arcos de la Frontera (77 kms): it is a considered among the most beautiful cities of Spain both for its position (on a cliff) that for the monuments and the characteristic urban order. It's possible also to visit the city of Cadiz (Cathedral Vieja in Baroque style, beautiful town-walls of around 5 kms, Castillo de Santa Catalina).

You will reach therefore Seville in the afternoon. We bring the auto to the rental and with a taxi we make us bring in the hotel.

Night in SEVILLE: Las Casas De Los Mercaderes, Sevilla: very beautiful three stars, with very characteristic architecture, situated in good position in the center of the city next to the cathedral, good reception from the personnel. Good relationship quality/price.

13th day, SEVILLE

Day devoted to the visit of Seville, whose three more important monuments: the Cathedral, the Alcázar and the Archivo General de Indias, has been declared from the UNESCO world heritage of the humanity. The Alcázar, is an architectural jewel of the Arabic epoch (9th century), the inside is orderly around two courtyards, the courtyard de Las Doncellas and that de Las Muñecas. The ambassadors' room, decorated in mudejar style, is among the most beautiful rooms. In front of the Alcázar lies the Cathedral, built above the Mosque, of which the magnificent minaret of the Giralda has remained, one of the symbols in Seville. The Cathedral entertains examples of structures of the Arabic period as the called courtyard Las Abluciones and the porta del Perdón. The inside, to five aisles, it is immense, to the inside the rests of Cristoforo Colombo are found. The Torre de Oro, a tower of octagonal plant, built in the 13th century next to the river to defense of the city, it entertains the Maritime Museum today. Of notable cultural and historical importance is instead the Archivo General de Indias, that guards million of original and unique documents on the Spanish colonies in America and in the rest of the world. Among the districts in Seville to be signalled in the district of Triana: the convent de las Minimas (1755); the church of San Giacinto (1775) and the rests of the castle of San Giorgio center of the inquisition. Other interesting district is that of Santa Cruz, in origin the Jewish district, the Judería of Seville here they are found: the Palacio de las Dueñas, the Casa de Pilatos and the Alameda de Hércules, one of the historical walks of the city. The Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla is the oldest bullfights arena of the whole Spain.  

Interesting it is also the modern architecture in Seville: Expo 92 with the thematic park of the Magic Island and the monumental Alamillo bridge works of the architect Santiago Calatrava. The Plaza de España, is the monument of the 1929 expo.

14th day, SEVILLE

Among the places to be visited in the outskirtses of Seville: the rests of the ancient city of Italica, native place of the Roman emperors Traiano and Adriano. The town of Alcalá de Guadaira with imposing works of Arabs fortification. Near Seville another site is found declared by the Unesco world heritage of the humanity in 1984, the Parque Nacional de Doñana. The area is important for its biodiversity, are present lagoons, swamps and dunes; during the winter period the place is frequented from over 500.000 aquatic birds.

15th day, SEVILLE-HOME

Flight of reentry. Remember you that you have to be to the airport at least 2 hours before the hour of departure.
