ZERMATT, VALAIS-WALLIS, SWITZERLAND

The Grindjisee is an alpine lake that lies along the path, called Seenweg, connecting Blauherd (2571 m) and Sunnega Paradise (2288 m) stations of the cableway Rothorn Paradise. The trail has a length of about 8 km and can be travel between June and September. The path crosses morainic detritus of the Findeln Glacier, and little after the small Grindjisee Lake is reached, it's encircled from fir trees, on whose waters is reflected the majestic Cervino-Matterhorn (4,478 meters).
