Zermatt Main Attractions: Around Zermatt rise 38 of the 76 European peaks that exceed the four thousand meter. The ski resort of Zermatt is connected to the area of Breuil-Cervinia (Italy) through the passage of Teodulo (3301 m) and Testa Grigia (3480 m). A bold narrow gauge railway linking Zermatt with the Gornergrat to 3089 meters high in some ten kilometers. Zermatt climate: The Valais is characterized by a pleasant climate, very dry and very mild until autumn.
