PASTRY CREAM (CREMA PASTICCERA), is a key ingredient in many desserts. 

Ingredients:

5 egg yolks

150 grams of sugar

40 grams of fecula or flour

Half a liter of milk

1 sachet of vanillin

Lemon rind

 
 

Preparation: Take the five egg yolks, add sugar and mix everything very well, add the flour. Meanwhile heated milk with the vanilla and lemon rind and add the dough. Cook on very low heat, stirring constantly until the cream will not be harden.
