The city of
Perth is the capital city of Western Australia it has
1.300.000 inhabitants, it was founded in 1829. It's built on the banks of the Swan River
and the Indian Ocean coast is only a few kilometres away. The climate has an average of 8
hours sunshine a day, average maximum temperatures range from 35 degrees in summer and 17
degrees in winter. There can be few modern cities in Australia that can match the beauty
of Perth, Western Australia is remote from
the rest of the country but its capital, Perth, is recognised as the most beautiful in
Australia. Between the places to visit is the Kings Park, 400 hectares of parklands,
picnic areas and bushland with magnificent panoramic views of Perth skyline and the Swan
River. Another interesting
visit is that to the Perth Mint, it is the nation's oldest operating mint and one of the
oldest mints in the world still producing coins from its original premises.
