It's the
postcard of the Chapada Diamantina. Its top has 1.120 m. of altitude, offering a
sensational sight from the region. The Morro do Pai Inácio consist of an erosional
outliner. Its landscape, the geological structure and the vegetal species that grow there
form a unique system. The hill is located between the limit of the Chapada Diamantina
National Park and the Marimbus-Iraquara Protection Area.
The climate of the region is tropical (semi-humid) with rain during November-February.
