ALBERTA, CANADA |
 |
| Located
where the Rocky Mountains meet the prairie, Alberta has a varied and beautiful landscape.
Of Canadas 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Alberta claims five: Jasper, Banff, Waterton Lakes and Wood Buffalo National Parks, Dinosaur
Provincial Park and Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. The
Rocky Mountains are Alberta's most recognizable geographic feature. Their rugged and
spectacular scenery attract visitors from all over the world. The rest of the province is a great plain (prairie). The badlands
are a unique area in southeastern Alberta. They are very dry and have little vegetation.
Alberta has cold winters and warm summers. |
Situata
Buffalo National Parks, Dinosaur Provincial Park e Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump.
