MOUNT ROBSON PROVINCIAL PARK and FRASER RIVER VALLEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA |

Mount Robson Provincial Park is situated approximately 4 hours
north of Kamloops, on Highway 5; 3 1/2 hours east of Prince George on Highway 16; and 5
hours west of Edmonton, Alberta on Highway 16.
Mount Robson Provincial Park is situated
within the North Continental Range of the Canadian Rockies just west of the British Columbia/Alberta border and Jasper National Park. This park is one of
the oldest and largest parks in British Columbia. Mount Robson, the highest peak (3954 m.)
in the Canadian Rockies, is one of the spectacular scenic attractions of this park, it was
designated as a part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains World Heritage Site by UNESCO in
1990. The Mount
Robson Park Visitor Centre is located at the park's western entrance and has a beautiful
view of Mount Robson. On the way to Jasper interesting stops are at Rearguard Falls, Terry
Fox Viewpoint, Mount Robson Park Visitor Centre, Overlander Falls, Moose Lake and
Yellowhead Pass.
