Portofino
it's of Roman origin, Plinius wrote of it as "Portus Delphini" because the great
number of Dolphins that were in its Gulf. The importance of Portofino grows in the Middle
Ages for its natural port which was a sure landing place and shelter for the ships. To the
start of the 1900, the first to discover this natural amphitheater were English.
