The old town
of Budua lies on a little island that was linked to the land by a sandbar and in time
turned into a peninsula. The town was founded in the 9th century. Starting in 1405 Budua
was under Venetian sovranity and so remains until the fall of the Venetian Republic. Budua
is surrounded by ramparts originating from the XV century including a medieval
fortification system with city gates, defense walls and towers. Inside the walls the town
is a combination of narrow streets and little squares where are located famous buildings,
church Sv. Trojica, church of Sv. Ivan, church of Sv. Bogorodica and church of Sv. Sava.
Kosmac fort is an Austrian fortress in Becici built
in 19th century. It was on the border between Austria-Hungary and Montenegro. You find it
on the road approaching Budua from Cetinje.

Sveti Stefan, Montenegro. It's a unique city, or
rather, village hotel. The houses of an old fishing village situated on a small peninsula
