BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL
PARK, UTAH
NAVAJO LOOP TRAIL-QUEEN'S GARDEN TRAIL
Navajo Loop Trail - Queen's Garden Trail
Length: 4.6 km round trip; Difference in height: Climbing:177 m;
Descending: 177 m; Altitude Min/Max: 2280/2444 m
We take the Navajo Loop Trail that descends from Sunset
Point through the slot canyon of Wall Street, where a 450-year-old Douglas-fir reaches
upward toward the sunlight at the top of the canyon. The Navajo Loop is the most popular
trail in the park, and is often combined (as we did) with the Queen's Garden Trail to form
a longer loop that passes through the Queen's Garden and emerges onto the rim at Sunrise
Point. From here a very scenic and easy stroll can be taken as part of the Rim Trail, a 1
km walk to the north and you arrive at Sunset Point. The trail is easy and take about 2-3
hours, the vision from the base of the hoodoos is fantastic and surreal.
