GROSVENOR ARCH, UTAH |

| The
Grosvenor Arch is situated 17 miles (27 km) from Cannonville, the road surface is paved
from Cannonville to Kodachrome Basin State Park, then the road to the arch (the last 10
miles, 16 km) is an unpaved dirt road, through the wilderness, not to be traveled lightly,
but we did it with a normal (2WD) car and without problems. The arch is a tall structure
of sandstone arching over 18 m. of open air. The arch is actually a double arch with a
small secondary opening to the left of the main arch, this arch is blocky and hardly
smooth. We reached this place from Bryce Canyon. |
