WHEN TO GO TO EASTER ISLAND:

Climate: Easter Island has a semi-tropical climate, characterized by low daily and annual thermal fluctuations and rainfall distributed throughout the year. Average temperatures maximum in summer (December-March) vary between 27°C to 25°C, while the minimum average of summer vary between 20°C and 18°C. The maximum average winter temperatures (June-September) are around 20°C, while the average minimum winter months temperatures vary between 15°C and 16°C. The island is exposed for most of the year to the trade winds, blowing toward the northeast. Rain falls more during the months between April and May, the average annual rainfall is 1,100 mm of rain a year.
